Installing the plugin

Installing the plugin requires basic Joomla knowledge... This article covers the basic installation and configuration of the plugin as well as the authentication procedure. 

1. First download the the plugin from this website, then go to the Extension manager (Extension menu) and select the plugin file(s). Start uploading and installing the plugin by pressing "Upload and install" to complete the installation.

Special notes to Joomla 1.5 users!!:

• Unzip, install and enable both plugins: Please note that if you use Joomla 1.5, you should unzip the downloaded file first and install both the content plugin (plg_flickrslideshows_J1.5.zip) and the system plugin (plg_fsspscriptembedder_J1.5.zip). If you use Joomla 1.6 or higher, the downloaded file is an installer package that installs both plugins.
• Requires Joomla 1.5.24 or later: Please make sure you are using the latest version of Joomla 1.5 (or at least later than Joomla 1.5.23). The image viewer and the CSS of the plugin will not load properly otherwise. Needless to say, running the latest version will also  give you better protection against hackers.

2. With the installation completed, the plugins have to be configured and enabled for the Flickr Suite Content Plugin to operate correctly. Please open the plugin manager:

3. First the System plugin that will embed the image viewer has to be enabled. Select "System" from the "Select type" selector to obtain a list of all installed System plugins:
