We are on our way to deliver you even beter Joomla extensions and corresponding support! During this year, the interest in our Joomla extensions has increased quite a lot. To keep on spending time on support and development, and to be able to continue to provide high quality Joomla extensions, we have decided to release the future releases of our extensions on a commercial basis. But there are more changes under the hood!
Since the release of version 3.0 in february, the user base of the Universal Playground Flickr Slideshow plugin has increased exponentially. With over 800 downloads each month at the time of writing, it serves thousands and thousands of websites all over the world. In June we released the Twitter widget module, an extension that showed the same exponential increase when it comes to downloads (400 each month at the time of writing). Due to the growth of usersbase, the requests for support and requests for new features has increased tremendously. To be able respond to all these support and feature requests we are getting and to be able to spend more time on development, we have decided to go commercial with our Joomla extensions.

Furthermore, we will be releasing new versions of our extensions soon. The new versions of the Flickr Slideshow Plugin (v3.5) comes with several new and very useful features. The new version of the Twitter Widget module will be released as a module and a plugin all together in one package to offer you more flexibility. Other exciting new extensions will be announced soon!
